Nikita

Nikita grew up in Deltona, FL just a stone’s throw from Stetson University which she visited on multiple occasions for band and choir events as a middle school and high school student. After graduating high school, Nikita was thrilled to be accepted into Stetson’s school of music and to pursue her Bachelor of Music Education there. In the fall of 2011 Nikita boldly moved to Waco, TX to attend Baylor University and work on a Master of Music in Vocal Performance. Since finishing her degree at Baylor, Nikita has been teaching music to kids ages 2 through 12 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School in Waco. Nikita loves getting to instill a love of music in her kids!

From piano lessons and performing with her elementary ensemble, to marching in the band, singing in the choir, and singing in the worship team at church, music has been an enormous part of Nikita’s life since she started plinking around on her neighbor’s piano in elementary school. Nikita loves making music for and with the people she loves, and most especially loves making a joyful noise to our great and mighty God!
